U2 - Silver Stadium, Rochester, N.Y.  October 11, 1987

My first upload at U2T, and fittingly it's the first U2 show
I ever attended.

This was the band's next concert following the well-documented 
Syracuse performance.  Another "broken arm" show, and the same
setlist as the previous show.  I think the overall performance
is a little better than in Syracuse - typically great versions
of "Bad" and "Bullet the Blue Sky", in addition to an extended 
version of "With or Without You" (the band plays a sort of 
"reprise" at the end) and a long version of "40" which includes
a few lines from "Walk to the Water" ("like a field of corn,
you were blown by the wind").

I've traded for this show several times over the years, and
this was the best copy I've ever received.  Clearly an 
average audience recording, but this one seems to be of a 
lower generation than most.  No details on the lineage, 
but the f.a. looks OK to me.  Unfortunately it ran a bit fast,
so I slowed it down about 2% using CoolEdit.  Still not 
perfect, but much improved in my opinion.

As a bonus, I've included another version of the first three
songs taken from a pro-shot source (TV station footage).  It's
not soundboard quality, but it's a bit better than the 
main recording.  I bought the VHS tape from a dealer in May 
1988, so it is a fairly low-gen recording and I've ripped
the audio directly from it.  No possible mp3 issues there.
